Community Policing with Automatic Unapproval

Any visitor to your site can click the "Flag as Inappropriate" link on media play pages. You can use these clicks as a moderation mechanism. You can set the Automatic Unapproval feature to unapprove a media item when a certain number of visitors have flagged it as inappropriate. Unapproved media items are removed from your site and placed in your pending media queue.

To change your Automatic Unapproval settings,

  1. Log into the Affiliate Center.
  2. Click the Manage tab.
  3. Click the triangle on the "Automatic Approvals and Unapprovals" panel to maximize it.
  4. To activate Automatic Unapproval, enter a number between 1 and 99 to determine how many visitors must flag a media item before it is automatically unapproved.
  5. To deactivate Automatic Unapproval, enter 0.
  6. Click Save.
