Community Privacy
From KickApps API Reference
If you like, you can make your KickApps-powered community private, for members only.
When you enable this new feature, authentication will be required to access to any of your KickApps-hosted community pages. Anyone who tries to access one of your pages will be prompted to either log in or register.
This feature can be enabled in the Affiliate Center under the Configure > Site Settings page.A couple of things to note with this feature:
- All new member registrations will require webmaster approval.
- All RSS feeds will be disabled on the community pages to ensure that no community data can be accessed by non-members. All bookmarked feeds will also get disabled.
- Widgets and Feeds can still be generated through the widget Studio and Feed Builder.
- My Widgets section under My Home will be disabled.
- 3rd Party Login feature is currently not compatible with the Community Privacy feature.
