Customize Your Community Homepage
From KickApps API Reference
Adding a Community Homepage to your site is a great way to create a hub for your community members to see what's going on throughout your community. It's also a great place to define the focus and set the tone of your site. KickApps offers a pre-made Community Homepage that you can add to your site in a few clicks. You can also create your own Community Homepage from scratch and link it to a "home" tab on your main navbar.
Add the pre-made Community Homepage to your site
- Log into the Affiliate Center.
- Browse to Configure > Pages > Community Homepage.
- Select "Include a "home" tab in my global navigation." at the top of the page. This will add a new tab to the left end of your main navigation bar.
- Select "Link my "home" tab to my pre-made community homepage."
- Select "Autoplay video?" if you'd like the video player on your pre-made homepage to begin playing automatically when the page loads.
- Modify the home page title and welcome message. The home page title will appear in the top bar of visitors' web browsers. The welcome message will appear at the top left of your pre-made homepage.
- Click Save.

For more control over your Community Homepage experience, you can build a custom homepage with HTML and link to it from a "home" tab in your community's main navigation bar. - Browse to Configure > Pages > Community Homepage.
- Select "Include a "home" tab in my global navigation." at the top of the page. This will add a new tab to the left end of your main navigation bar.
