Enable or Disable Automatic Media Approvals

Media items and other contributions to your community are automatically approved by default, which means that when a member contributes a new media item, makes a comment, or posts to your message board, their contribution will appear on your site as soon as it has been processed. If you prefer to review all new contributions before they're displayed on your site, you can disable the automatic approval option for videos, audio tracks, photos, and blogs, as well as for Comments and Message Board Posts.
To change your Automatic Approval settings,
- Log into the Affiliate Center.
- Click the Manage tab. To change the settings for videos, audio tracks, photos, or blogs, stay on the Media page. To change the settings for Comments or Message Board Posts, click on the Comments or Message Board Posts sub-tabs.
- Click the triangle on the "Automatic Approvals and Unapprovals" panel to maximize it.
- Check the boxes next to any of the media types that you want to automatically approve.
- Uncheck the boxes next to any of the media types that you don't want to auto-approve.
- Click Save.
If you opted to disable automatic approval for a media type, when members contribute a new media item of that media type, their media item will enter your pending media queue. You can then review this media item and manually approve or reject it. Learn how to approve and reject pending media.
